Model is Under Construction

Model Description: The Halifax was a schooner altered for service in the Royal Navy during the American Revolution. This model is under construction with only the framing phase completed. Harold Hahn plans taken from admiralty drawings are being used for construction.

The next construction phase will be hull planking. Only one plank will be installed below the main wales. This will leave some framing exposed on the finished model.

Model Shipwright: Bob Conover
Bio: A retired corporate executive and manufacturing consultant. A professional engineer with 3 Patents he served in the USMC and the USAF as a fighter pilot. Bob has a BSME and MBA degrees and has sailed as a crewmember on replicas of 16th century ships. Bob is the purser of RMSW.
